Here are some of my favourite photos from Morgan and Alastair’s wedding at Fields on West Lake in Prince Edward County, just outside of Picton!  It’s an awesome barn on a really big (and beautiful) property that’s been converted for weddings and other events and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot there a few times now.  I apologize for so many photos but I had a really hard time narrowing them down so I just went with a million or so.  Enjoy!

Here are some photos from Heather and Scott’s wedding, way back when the weather was nice!  I’m going to catch up on my blogging this week with plenty of weddings, engagement shoots, family photo shoots and a few other things.  But for now, here are some of my favourites from Heather and Scott.  The ceremony was at the beautiful Memorial Hall in Kingston City Hall and the reception was a nice intimate affair at Olivea Restaurant, downtown.  Also, a quick note to one of my favourite moments when I first met Heather and Scott:  Scott made a Dr. Horrible reference, which was pretty much the best thing ever.  Enjoy the photos!

I just finished the awesomest book if you’re a pop culture nerd like I am. It’s called Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (who also wrote the cult movie Fan Boys). It’s loaded to the brim with crazy movie, TV, music, and video game references and it’s also a fun story. You can download the first 3 chapters to sample it here.

The book takes place in a miserable future where people spend most of their time in a virtual reality “game” called the OASIS. The creator is a Willy Wonka-type guy who passes away and leaves his entire fortune (and the fate of the OASIS) hidden in easter eggs inside the game itself. It’s such a nerd book and it’s crazy awesome.

Here are some photos from Kathleen and Hiro’s intimate ceremony at the Senior Staff Mess at RMC in Kingston.  They actually just recently had their second ceremony in Japan!  Congrats for a second time!

The food is good, but the band is better.  I’ve been a huge fan for years (and have seen them live twice).  Here’s a mini concert they did on David Letterman a while back.

Here are some photos from Christine and Dan’s wedding!  They started at Luce Hair Studio downtown, had their ceremony at the Sydenham Street United Church, and reception at the Four Points Sheraton downtown.   Special appearances made by Dan’s awesome drum kit and a pretty sweet Maple Leafs hat (boooooooooooooo!!!!!).  Enjoy!

Here are some photos from Tracy and Christophe’s Prince Edward County wedding at the Waring House!  The girls started the day at Tamara’s Shear Design in Trenton and then we all made our way to the Vinyard View Cottage at the Waring House to finish off before the ceremony.  Here are some of my favourite images from the day!

Here are some samples from Kelsey and Ryan’s back yard wedding near Harrowsmith, ON!  Check out all the sweet music-related details, down to the Beatles pins and awesome ceremony microphone.  And bouncy castle.  Oh yes — there was a bouncy castle.

 

Luckily there were no signs outside the bouncy castle that said, “Don’t hang children upside-down by their feet,” so this is perfectly safe and acceptable.  :D

The property was awesome!  They had a section where people could hang out and grab drinks and play Rock Band, and they had another section with an awesome catered BBQ, and another section with a super gigantic fire pit.

And then we were able to eat the bride and groom in cookie format!  Mmmmm….  cookies….
